Less than 5% of all dentists have completed the advanced training required to become a prosthodontist. These clinicians truly are experts in the restoration of smiles, and Dr. Lisa Klimowski is a member of this elite group. Nesrine’s Story
Without a doubt, there is a direct connection between your oral health and your overall health. At the same time, we rarely get involved in life-threatening situations. In the case of Nesrine, we had to help her win two battles. First, Dr. Koo rid her body of a terrible, aggressive tumor that consumed half of her jaw and placed a series of dental implants. Second, Dr. Klimowski restored the beauty and function of her smile by creating a set of dentures anchored to these implants. Our success enabled her to have the confidence she needs to live a happy, productive life as an attorney and mother of two, young children. Watch as Nesrine talks about her journey.
Meet Dr. Klimowski
Having earned her Doctorate in Dental Surgery along with a Certificate in Prosthodontics from the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston, Dr. Lisa Klimowski joined a group of fewer than 70 prosthodontists in Greater Houston. This is important as it signifies Dr. Lisa has completed an additional two years of advanced training in the restoration of smiles.
Dr. Lisa’s real passion is for patients who want to completely redo their smiles – whether for cosmetic or functional reasons (or both). For these patients in the Energy Corridor, Memorial Area and Katy, she is an exceptional resource. In addition, Dr. Lisa is a Certified Provider of Invisalign, and she has completed advanced training in laser dentistry.
